Senior Cardiac Electrophysiologist & Interventional Cardiologist Consultant, Dr Vanita Arora believes that “Women are born leader”. She is the Associate Director & Head, Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab and Arrhythmia Services.   She obtained her M.B.B.S from Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana and her M.D in Internal Medicine from the same institute. In the year 1995, after joining Escorts, she completed her DNB Cardiology that led to National Board Certification. In 1994, she started her career with KEM hospital, Mumbai and moved to Delhi the following year to work with the premier Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre.   Dr Vanita Arora is the first consultant, thereupon to have handled an independent case involving the technology. Before joining the Max Group in 2009, she had been with Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Arora’s strength is the implantation of biventricular pacemaker, performed more than 200 implantations in the year 2012.   Dealing with the syncope (a condition in which patient losses consciousness intermittently) patients is one of her another specialists. Dr Vanita Arora handles Pacemaker and Syncope patients at Max Hospital. In order to arm herself with best of knowledge in her field, she underwent essential fellowships and training in top-notch global institutes. In addition she trained in advanced 3D Mapping at Innoheart Singapore National Heart Center, Singapore.   In two decades of her career spanning, she has to her credit to over 900 Radiofrequency Ablations, 1000 Pacemaker Implantation (Permanent) which exclude 400 Biventricular Pacemaker Implantationand 40 3D Mapping Radiofrequency Ablation of the Complex Arrhythmias.    She gives her great contributions to esteemed national as well as international publications, by way of her reviews and articles.
